- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 ½ cups sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup blackberry puree
- 1 cup boiling water
