Cheesy and Creamy Broccoli Pasta

  • 8 ounces pasta of choice
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside, leaving the drippings in the skillet.
  3. Add the broccoli to the skillet and sauté for about 5 minutes until tender.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.
  5. Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper; mix well.
  6. Toss the cooked pasta and turkey bacon into the sauce, coating evenly.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with additional cheese if desired.
