Chicken Pot Pie Recipe

  • 1 package premade pie crusts
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, diced
  • 1/2 cup turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the chicken, turkey bacon, mixed vegetables, milk, chicken broth, salt, pepper, and thyme.
  3. Place one pie crust in a pie dish and fill it with the chicken mixture.
  4. Cover with the second pie crust, seal the edges, and cut slits in the top to allow steam to escape.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
  6. Let it sit for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a creamier pot pie, add a can of cream of chicken soup.
  • Feel free to use your favorite vegetables.
