Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix the wet ingredients: vegetable oil, buttermilk, eggs, food coloring, and vanilla.
  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
