- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 carrot, diced
- 1 celery stalk, diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced

- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped
