Hobo Casserole with Ground Beef & Potatoes

A hearty and comforting dish that combines ground beef and potatoes for a delightful meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 cups diced potatoes
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 2 cups shredded cheese
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef and onions until the meat is fully cooked.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked beef mixture, diced potatoes, cream of mushroom soup, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and top with shredded cheese.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes or until the potatoes are tender.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add diced jalapeños to the mixture.
  • You can use any cheese you prefer or have on hand.
