  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 ounces turkey bacon, chopped
  • 8 ounces chicken ham, chopped
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 jar marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to the package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, sauté until soft.
  4. Add the turkey bacon and chicken ham, cook until browned.
  5. In a bowl, combine the ricotta, half of the mozzarella, parmesan, basil, oregano, and black pepper.
  6. Spread some marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish, layer with noodles, the cheese mixture, and meat mixture.
  7. Repeat layers, finishing with noodles topped with sauce and remaining mozzarella.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until heated through and cheese is bubbly.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian option, substitute turkey bacon and chicken ham with vegetables.
  • Let the lasagna sit for 10 minutes before cutting for better slices.
