  • 8 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 pound whole wheat pasta
  • 2 cups spinach
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and add diced onions and garlic. Sauté until translucent.
  3. Add turkey bacon and cook until crispy.
  4. Stir in spinach and cherry tomatoes, cooking until spinach wilts.
  5. Combine the cooked pasta with the turkey bacon mixture.
  6. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Toss well.
