  • ½ teaspoon instant yeast
  • 1 ½ cups warm water
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your choice)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the flour, salt, and yeast together.
  2. Add the warm water and mix until a rough dough forms.
  3. Stir in the shredded cheese until evenly distributed.
  4. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it sit at room temperature for 12-18 hours.
  5. After the dough has risen, preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C).
  6. Place a Dutch oven in the oven to heat up as well.
  7. Carefully transfer the dough onto a floured surface and shape it into a round loaf.
  8. Once the Dutch oven is hot, carefully place the dough inside and cover it.
  9. Bake for 30 minutes, then remove the lid and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Let it cool before slicing and serving.
