  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup red and green sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and powdered sugar.
  4. Add the vanilla extract, peppermint extract, and egg; mix until combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the sprinkles.
  7. Drop cookie dough by the tablespoon onto baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
  9. Let cookies cool on baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
