Pumpkin Patch Deviled Eggs

These Pumpkin Patch Deviled Eggs are a fun and creative appetizer with a unique turkey bacon twist!

Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons chopped chives
  • 1 tablespoon sour cream
  • yellow food coloring, as needed

Instructions

  1. Hard boil the eggs by placing them in a pot covered with water. Bring to a boil, then cover and remove from heat. Let stand for 12 minutes.
  2. Transfer the eggs to an ice bath for 10 minutes to cool.
  3. Peel the eggs and slice them in half lengthwise.
  4. Remove the yolks and place them in a bowl. Add mayonnaise, mustard, salt, pepper, turkey bacon, paprika, chives, sour cream, and yellow food coloring. Mix until smooth.
  5. Fill the egg whites with the yolk mixture using a spoon or piping bag.
  6. Garnish with additional crumbled turkey bacon and chives if desired.

Notes

  • Add additional spices to taste.
  • Can substitute regular bacon for turkey bacon if preferred.
