  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 tablespoon red food coloring
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, melted butter, eggs, food coloring, and vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread butter over it.
  6. Sprinkle cinnamon and brown sugar over the buttered dough.
  7. Roll the dough tightly and cut into rolls.
  8. Place rolls in a greased baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  9. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
