Shrimp & Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuit Pot Pie

A rich and comforting pot pie filled with succulent shrimp and lobster, topped with cheddar bay biscuits.

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 pound lobster meat, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup celery, diced
  • 1/2 cup carrots, diced
  • 1/2 cup onion, diced
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 package refrigerated biscuit dough

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large saucepan, sauté the onion, celery, and carrots until soft.
  3. Stir in the flour, garlic powder, Old Bay seasoning, and black pepper, cooking for 1 minute.
  4. Add in the chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring until thickened.
  5. Fold in the shrimp and lobster, then transfer to a pie dish.
  6. Top with shredded cheddar and biscuit dough.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown.

Notes

  • For best results, use fresh seafood.
  • Feel free to substitute the seafood with chicken or vegetables for variation.
