- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup water
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 bay leaf
- 8 hoagie rolls
- 8 ounces provolone cheese, sliced
- Place the beef chuck roast in a slow cooker.
- Add beef broth, water, onion, garlic, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and bay leaf.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the meat is tender.
- Remove the bay leaf and shred the beef with two forks.
