  • 1 bay leaf
  • 8 hoagie rolls
  • 8 ounces provolone cheese, sliced

Instructions

  1. Place the beef chuck roast in a slow cooker.
  2. Add beef broth, water, onion, garlic, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and bay leaf.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the meat is tender.
  4. Remove the bay leaf and shred the beef with two forks.
  5. Serve the beef and broth on toasted hoagie rolls, topped with provolone cheese.
