4 cups mashed sweet potatoes
1 cup maple syrup
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 cup heavy cream
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 cup turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 cup pecans, chopped
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, combine the mashed sweet potatoes, maple syrup, melted butter, heavy cream, eggs, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Mix until smooth.
Fold in the turkey bacon and half of the pecans.
Pour the sweet potato mixture into a greased baking dish.
Top with the remaining pecans.
Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
Let it cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Feel free to adjust the sweetness by adding more or less maple syrup.
This dish can be made a day ahead and reheated before serving.
