- 1 pound sushi rice
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 8 ounces cooked salmon, flaked
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sriracha
- 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 green onion, sliced
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Rinse the sushi rice until the water runs clear, then combine it with water in a rice cooker, or boil it in a pot.
- Once cooked, mix in rice vinegar, sugar, and salt.
- Spread the rice in a baking dish.
- In a bowl, combine the flaked salmon, mayonnaise, sriracha, and sesame oil.
- Spoon the salmon mixture over the rice.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until heated through.
- Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add avocado slices or cucumber.
- Serve with soy sauce for dipping.
