Spicy Salmon Sushi Bake Recipe

  • 1 pound sushi rice
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 8 ounces cooked salmon, flaked
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha
  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 green onion, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Rinse the sushi rice until the water runs clear, then combine it with water in a rice cooker, or boil it in a pot.
  3. Once cooked, mix in rice vinegar, sugar, and salt.
  4. Spread the rice in a baking dish.
  5. In a bowl, combine the flaked salmon, mayonnaise, sriracha, and sesame oil.
  6. Spoon the salmon mixture over the rice.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until heated through.
  8. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add avocado slices or cucumber.
  • Serve with soy sauce for dipping.
